Coaster #3 - Millennium Force
Millennium Force was a record-breaking coaster when it opened in the year 2000 and was built by Intamin. This coaster broke the record for the tallest coaster by breaking the 300-foot barrier and becoming the world’s first giga coaster. Not only did it break the height record at the time, but it also provided the longest drop on a coaster along with the record of the fastest roller coaster. At this time the coaster was a true record breaker and a huge gamble to build as nothing like this had been made before, however with the help of Intamin this dream was able to come true. Cedar Point is considered the best theme park in the world and with a vast roller coaster collection including Millennium Force, it is hard to disagree.
